RoboControl and iRoboControl

What's new in RoboControl 3.0 and iRoboControl 3.0

RoboControl 3.0 and iRoboControl 3.0 released in April 2013 include the following new capabilities:

• Mindstorms NXT robotic platform now supported.
• Velocity control.
• Email and SMS alerts with Gmail.
• Sensors tracking dashboards with ThingSpeak.
• Social networking with Facebook.
• Web server and browser embedded in the application.
• Simplified installation.
• User's guide now available on RoboticApp.com.

iRoboControl requires RoboServer to provide these capabilities which is available separatly. RoboServer is already included with RoboControl.

Requirements

RoboControl requires the following components:

• Client computer or device running any operating system with a Web browser and Internet connectivity (optimized for iPhone/iPod touch running iOS with Safari).
• Server computer running Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 (32 or 64 bit) with Bluetooth wireless and Internet connectivity.
• Roomba (any model manufactured after October 2005), Create or Mindstorms NXT.
• RooTooth Bluetooth device (required only for Roomba and Create).
• iPod touch 4th generation with mounting device (required only for remote monitoring and telepresence).
• Solar charger for iPod touch with adhesive Velcro (required only for remote monitoring and telepresence).
• RoboWebCam application (required only for remote monitoring).

iRoboControl

iRoboControl is the iOS native version of RoboControl. It provides the same capabilities as RoboControl except telepresence. It runs on the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini with Internet connectivity. iRoboControl requires RoboServer. To know more about RoboServer.
